Lightyear: 'GOOD' with the potential of being 'GREAT'

I really enjoy using Lightyear. It's easy to use, very clear for a beginner as well as has great customer service. However, as with everything, there is always room for growth and improvement. What I'd like to see added is: 1) More countries working with Lightyear as now, if I move (and that's a possibility), I'd have to close my account which I find very unfortunate | 2) The ability to transfer shares/stocks/ETF's out of Lightyear. As of now, you can only transfer into Lightyear. This is very limiting and especially uncomfortable for investors who are forced to sell due to i.e. moving to a country where Lightyear doesn't provide services (yet). | 3) More financial protection. As of now, 20 000 EUR is the max protection in EU, however some other platforms offer higher protection for the portfolio of their customers. This of course gives more security when using the platform without thinking to much about 'what is still safe and what could be at risk'. These three things I'd love to see different as for now, I can't think of anything else. Overall, Lightyear is a great option for beginners as well as experienced investors to continue there investing journey. Reviewed on: 15th March 2024
