My experience with Loqbox was extremely disappointing.

My experience with Loqbox was extremely disappointing. I was hit with hidden weekly charges, lost a significant portion of my savings due to undisclosed fees, and faced obstacles when trying to withdraw my money. Despite agreeing to pay extra to expedite the process, I was still bombarded with notifications demanding repayment of a loan, further damaging my credit score. Overall, Loqbox's lack of transparency and excessive charges have left me with a negative impression and I would not recommend their services to others. Reviewed on: 25th February 2024

This so called credit service is a complete SCAM. After taking more money than I signed up for, the support has dried up. No reply to emails, previous chats not available and if I want to cancel, I have to pay more money,. Reviewed on: 8th February 2024

This company is a scam.

This company is a scam. There is no other way to put it. They prey on people who have low credit scores (so people who might already be in financial hardship) promising to improve their score and giving them an imaginary 'credit limit' that they never actually give to the customer, they then take up to 50 pounds a month out of your account which includes fees that are not made clear on their website. They do not conduct a credit or affordability check but claim to be a regulated 'service'. They hardly respond to emails or complaints and have no explanation where the money they are taking from you each month goes and why they are taking it, please please please do not fall for this trap. It did absolutely nothing for me and yet they were taking £100 a month plus extra for the pleasure. I bet they are making a nice little earner from all our money in their bank and I bet their credit score is marvellous. As for me, even though I cancelled loqbox after the year was up they still kept on taking money and say I can't have a refund. Its MY money! Loqbox is an absolute con!! Reviewed on: 7th January 2024

They help you rebuild your CS. Not a scam!

I have used loqbox once before, and saved over 12 months with them, opened a TSB current account and transferred the money into that! They make it very clear that if you transfer the saved funds into your own bank account then a fee would apply. I am now using them again to do another 12 month savings plan to help build my score back up. The poor reviews stating they are a rip off. It’s kind of unfair as they are clear regarding fees etc. it really ball down, too incompetence for not reading the information before making an adult decision. Reviewed on: 2nd December 2023

They're a legal scam..

Dreadful Don't fall for the marketing. They won't improve your CS .... but they will make ut diffand costly and even affect your CS when you cease to wish to continue with the scam and stop paying into the thing by logging you as missed payments..... on a savings app that poses as a credit agreement. It's a scam company and they should be banned

This is the worst company I have ever come across. I started paying in 50 pounds a month trying to grow my CS but then I noticed they keep deducting 2.50 pounds every week and they also upgraded me to loqbox grow which cost 12.50. When I noticed this, I decided to cancel my membership and to withdraw my money. They said I couldn't cancel the loqbox grow until I pay the 12.50 for the first month which was infuriating. I was with them for 6 months which made my total savings with them 300 pounds. When I decided to withdraw my savings, they decided to deduct 30 pounds from it. How is this even legal? But CS didn't increase either. During the 6 months I was with them, they collected 60 pounds for their weekly charge and then 12.50 for when they decided to put me on loqbox grow and then also deducted 30 pounds just for me to withdraw my money. They would make your days too miserable dealing with them once you join them.

This company is for sure not properly regulated by the Government. They advert a slogan of saving with them of at least £20 a month. Not only you save but they promise to make your credit score go to the ceiling. I dont care about credit score. I dont need it. When I signed up to save with them to give it a try. Oh my gosh! I discovered there a hidden weekly charge of £2.50 per week. Of course who in the right sense of mind would save and loose their money. So, I opted out to cancel my account with them. But as they already charge me £10 with their charge. My money has no way out to get back to my bank account. Its been more than a week of stress already dealing with them, But they seem too creepy to deal with. Their condition, for you to refund your money, they would ask you to open a new bank account where they would transfer it. WHATS THAT FOR? For them to receive a commissions from the bank where you open an account.. WHAT DISGRACEFUL AND TOO COMPLICATED COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2023
