Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

Fantastic service with none judgmental staff. They really are for the people. They always go the extra mile to help all customers no matter gender, age or ethnicity. I have had previous issues with paying my account and the people who I spoke to couldn't have done more to help, they offered as much advise as they could. Since clearing my arrears I was able to reopen my account and again the customer service is brilliant and very quick to help in anyway possible. Reviewed on: 7th July 2025
