A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Savings Account for rainy days

I have beem with Manchester Credit Union for about 6 years. I save a small amount each month and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can see my savings grow online, I feel rest assured that if I need to use my savings I can withdraw them without any hassle and know that if I needed extra money I could apply for a credit union loan. Their website is simple to use and provides all the information I need. As an extra bonus every saver is provided with generous life insurance. The life insurance doubles your savings deposits in case of your death to help love ones pay for funeral expenses. Reviewed on: 18th May 2022

Great Experience with Efficient and Supportive Service

I have had a very positive experience with manchester credit union. The loan application process is efficient and does not take long, which is highly convenient. Additionally, savings earn interest, which is a great benefit. The staff who handled my case were excellent, professional, supportive, and responsive throughout. Local & connected

I love the concept of a credit union in general and enjoy being a part of Manchester Credit Union specifically as it makes me feel like I am supporting the people of my city. I would say that the app could do with some attention as its not as simple and intuitive as other money apps but it does the job. MCU great for savings & loans.
