I sought out Money Wellness from a 3 list option from having done an assessment with Step Change. It was my first time seeking debt help of this nature. After I had gone through a lot of personal financial detail, was it made clear to me how my credit would be affected and for how long. Something I would have liked to have been clearer on before having spent over an hour or more on the phone. Some of this information was not on the Personal Action Plan I received. I spoke with two separate agents from Money Wellness. The first one worked out the information and the second was to 'fine tune'... in my opinion, this should be communicated by one person, even if the fine tuning involved a 2nd set of eyes. Some of the initial information needed to be clarified. I was asked a couple of bank questions that I was not comfortable with and declined to answer - it was not explained either, which seems a bit concerning despite the high rating on Trust Pilot. This is a sensitive and vulnerable situation where it could be easy to make a quick decision to debt relief. I can only advise people to ask questions so they are very clear about the debt help they are getting. Reviewed on: 26th May 2024
