Less interest rate which is only half of the inflati... Less interest rate which is only half of the inflation rate. Caused me to erode my savings. Reviewed on: 27th March 2024

Money box app

I have used several savings accounts to help get money for a mortgage, including RBS, Halifax and HSBC. I am now using moneybox and can honestly say it is far by the best with the best incentives and really easy to use. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Easy and simple

Open one ASAP

This is perfect for a savings account for a young teen to go into and leave money in for the future. It gets regular interest at real-time. And the £1k bonus is a plus. I did not know anything about one until I tried and I certainly will be opening one for when I have a child. It’s perfect. And Moneybox’s app is so useful for it. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Easy way to save!

Makes saving feel like second nature

I have a cash LISA with Moneybox. I believe I wouldn't have opened a LISA if I did not hear about Moneybox on the internet. I was aware of other providers but I felt slightly intimidated to open an account. In contrast, Moneybox's communication felt friendly and young. It was really fast to download the app and apply. It is easy to add money, I usually add it through weekly collection and one-offs. I really like the progress bar that shows the fund value, the bonus that is pending and number of weeks left to save in the financial year. The design is just really good, I enjoy checking the app and playing with the projections. It's had an impact on my confidence when it comes to finance, I feel so put together. I recommend it to all my friends who are in their 20s and looking primarily to save for a deposit. Lastly, the articles and videos that Moneybox put out are inspiring me to invest, put more in my pension. I am very glad I decided to start the LISA with Moneybox when I did.
