The Moneybox Simple Saver account can be opened with £1 and you can make withdrawals with one day notice. Moneybox also offer a 32-day notice or 95-day notice account. You can deposit up to £85,000 in any of the Moneybox savings accounts and there’s no account fees or charges.

I use moneybox for saving money for christmas. I have selected the 95 day notice account as it gives me a great rate and stops me from withdrawing the funds instantly. I have used this account for a few years now and it has worked a treat. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2025

I call it shop and save.

For years I gave bee trying to say and it did not get anywhere; with money box app it is easy as I can set an affordable amount each week, and then the card I use for shopping abd pay my bills I am able to do round up which adds to my weekly amount. It is more controlled for me. I think this app is excellent, I only started August 2024 and I can see a huge savings and I am not tempted to withdraw any. Marvelous app everyone should have.
