Oh! What a transformation, what a revelation! Had you told me, in the dark days of my miserliness, that I should take delight in the workings of a mobile application, I’d have called you madder than Marley’s ghost! And yet, here I am—a man reborn!—to sing the praises of the Moneybox Stocks and Shares ISA with all the fervour of a choirboy on Christmas morning! Ease of use, you say? Why, it’s simpler than sending a Christmas goose to Bob Cratchit’s house! The interface is as clear as the snow that blankets London rooftops—clean, intuitive, and without the cumbersome frills that used to make investing the domain of bankers and barons. Even I, a man once more familiar with ledgers than iPhones, find myself navigating it with the ease of a lad skipping through the streets of Camden. Why, with a few taps of the finger—taps, mind you!—I can invest in stocks, monitor my portfolio, and adjust my contributions! No chain-rattling bureaucracy, no visits from the Ghost of Hidden Fees. And what’s more, the regular contribution feature is a marvel—nay, a miracle! Like Tiny Tim’s restored health, it fills my heart with hope and steadiness. To those still counting pennies in fear or burying gold in the back garden, I say this: try Moneybox. It has turned even me—Ebenezer Scrooge!—into a cheerful, forward-looking investor. Makes saving/investing so easy!

I’m trying to become more financially savvy, but don’t want to risk too much or invest too much time into looking into individual shares and indexes. This makes saving money to invest easily, and allows me to allocate my money into sustainable funds. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Keep your money tucked away safe

Spending money is easy. Putting money into an account where you can’t touch it is difficult. But putting into an account where the money is growing is even easier. I have of course seen my money fluctuate but with consistent investing and knowing my money can go up it is a win win. I’m saving and earning on my saving rather than standard interest rates.
