Moving money in and out is instant, which makes it very convenient if I need access to my savings. I also like the way you can organise savings into different “pots” for goals, which makes it easier to stay on track. The interest being paid monthly is a nice bonus and helps me see progress. On the downside, the interest rate isn’t always the most competitive compared to other providers, and you need a Monzo current account to use it, which might not suit everyone. Also, some of the higher rates depend on paid plans or limiting withdrawals. You can also see more days in advance of what amount of money is due in/out of your account. You also can easily get a welcome bonus amount of £ when you join. I got £5 but think some get more if you’re lucky. Can add your card to Apple Pay and spend straight away no need to wait for your card to arrive.
