Airport Lounge service pointless waste of money they are never available to use, helpline even more pointless. Mixed view of this service, breakdown cover good, mobile phone Insurance poor excess costs as much to replace or repair. We used this service and got a poor replacement, battery was spent. Travel Ins not had the need to claim yet !!!. Tickets and concierge charge more than other companies. Travel money exchange can get better rates off other companies. Interesting writing this review I'm questioning now the value for money and if I will continue with Black Account. 34 years a customer of Natwest and the service in general has gone down considerably. The free travel Insurance is substandard

We tried to claim for a lost hotel booking resulting from a flight cancellation. Most policies would cover this but NOT the Nat West black travel insurance. Avoid because you can get a much better policy for a good price! Reviewed on: 2nd November 2022

Disgraceful

This has been completely unacceptable. Our Ukranian guest tried to open an account in Stockport branch 7 weeks ago. It has now transpired after numerous visits to the branch along with numerous assurances the card will be with us soon that the application has gone missing. We are now completing yet another application which has taken over an hour. It would seem that the branch IT system cannot trace account applications!!! A friend of ours who is sponsoring a recent arrival went to HSBC after hearing about poor service from NatWest. The account was open within a day. Avoid NatWest at all costs and go to HSBC...or anywhere tbh. Update... absolutely unbelievable. Iryna just got the email link to try and open an account and yet again it asks for ID that she can not possibly provide. I'm absolutely furious with these clowns, it's almost like they are in cahoots with the government to make things as difficult as possible. It took three days to open a Monzo account. HSBC it is. Mixed benefits

Dragonpass poor; travel booking service staffed by people who know little about the services they sell - for example, no-one can tell me cancellation policy on car hire. Good: travel and car breakdown insurance (only had to use latter). And is it me, or do all these glowing reviews about the app (does it also make tea?) sound somewhat similar? Dragon pass no benefit

Dragon pass is only any use as benefit in airport lounge if WHEN YOU TURN UP THERE IS SPACE IN LOUNGE. There never ever is and unless you prebook and pay extra to pre book you don't benefit. So the dragon pass is giving you a supposedly free benefit that you still have to pay extra for pre booking to be able to get the benefit. The Black account holder should be able to Pre book with no extra charge if holding dragon pass for this to be a real benefit.
