Fantastic way to manage pocket money and chores!

We had been searching for a way to teach our children about managing money and for an effective way to manage the chore list. Rooster has both in one. We find it very convenient to use, one we took the time to set up the chores. I works wonders with my 14 yo, 12yo and 9 yo, having a card is a huge bonus for them. Rooster is flexible, you transfer money easily from one account to the other, and we an manage it on the "wasted" times -like in the train or waiting in the car. It has been a game changer for us in having a good pocket money routine. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

transformed our childrens banking

we have 4 kids, 2 were right at the beginning of prepay cards to teach children. We worked with them before with an account they couldn't see or access easily and saving was a thing where they gave us there money and it went into a place they didn't understand. we then started using this service and it helped them learn about saving for different things. 2 of them are now at uni and have moved into using an online bank with simler pots, they are both managing there money well and have regular savings pots as a normal thing in there monthly budget. Our younger two (7 and 11) have Rooster cards and accounts still the 7-year-old has savings pots for toys he would like and also regularly gives to charity. Our 11 year old saves for things he would like but also saves weekly for his annual insurances for football and swimming. It is helping him go out and be more confident in paying for things. Being able to check his account he also gives to a charity regularly too. We talk about money and how it works for them and are teaching them from a really young age. As a parent, this makes me happier that they are learning lessons and good habits young so these will be embedded in there lifestyle by the time they are adults. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Highly Recommend Rooster Money

We set up a RoosterMoney account for our 7 year old son earlier this year. I can’t recommend this service enough. I’ve since gotten other family and friends to set an account up for their kids too! It’s given my son so much confidence and a much better understanding of money. He can make purchases online for his much loved gaming and has learned the value of saving money. It’s just been fantastic for him. The app is very easy to use and allows parents to see what their child is spending with the parent app and with real time notifications.
