Fantastic

We found this a fantastic card and app to teach the children about money, saving and earning we have recommended to friends and the chores on the app are a great encouragement too Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Stepping stone to financial responsibility

Just what we were looking for. This card/app promotes communication between parent and child to ensure the child gets experiences to manage their money but allows the parental guidance necessary. The chores feature is a great learning tool as is being able to give extras and pay proportionally according to chore/targets being completed. The fact that money goes into the 'Rooster bank' before it's accessible to my daughter feels safer. The spend and save pots are useful learning tools. Shame its quite expensive but overall it has been a really good self esteem boost for my daughter and has allowed me to give her some freedom in a safe controlled way. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

I love the way you can set you separate ‘accounts’ and set your own interest rate on them. Encourage good saving habits from a young age. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Useful Tool for helping kids manage their time and money

Thus has been great for getting our 12 Yr old and 11 year old to manage their chores and earn rewards They have learned to save and how to shop safely online. As parents we love it as it notifies us where they are spending their money. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Great app for teaching children value of money.

We’ve been using Rooster for over a year now. 2 of our children have a card and our youngest uses just the app. We love how our children can understand the value of money and earn money, and that we can keep track of all their spends in one place! We can all access the apps using various devices. The fact both my husband and I can control and monitor their accounts is a real bonus. Our eldest (aged 11) user her card regularly, and with lockdown knowing she has the option of paying contactless is very reassuring. Our middle child (aged 9) hasn’t used his card yet (it was a Christmas gift). He’s waiting until shops reopen (and saving!) to start using it. Highly recommend as a way to introduce children to budgeting, saving and a cash free (card-only) way to use money. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2021

Happy child
