Great way to get the kids to start saving

I was struggled with rewards and giving the kids some pocket money. This brings both together, so I can manage my kids pocket money and combine it easily with rewards. Encouraging them to help around the house and to save at the same time. Reviewed on: 21st March 2021

Love Rooster

When my daughter turned 11 during the first lockdown it became apparent that the way forward with pocket money was no longer to be cash and more heavily to be via bank accounts and debit cards. I researched bank account offers and other similar companies and a friend recommended Rooster, as soon as I viewed the website information I knew it was the right step for my daughter to begin learning about and handling money. It all ties in with her chores at home, ease of use for us as parents (& grandparents wanting to top up pocket money). The apps are fantastic for both parents and children, we are a tech savvy family so quick and easy to use, I'm so glad my daughter is learning about saving and spending in a way that gives me transparency over her usage as it means I can also help support her as her knowledge of money and finances grows with her. Easy app to use

Very easy to pay pocket money for chores. Great idea having a card attached as well so the children have their own bit of independence of spending their money. Great way for them to learn the value of money. Reviewed on: 20th March 2021

"Amazing" OL, aged 9

The app is a really great way to introduce the kids to understanding how to save and manage their money. They are very proud of their bank cards and love checking on their balance. The chores system is really versatile and easy to use and gets the kids asking for more chores! The kids recommend the app to their friends and enjoy talking about saving. Learning to value money

I got this card for my son 2 yrs ago, he continues to do his chores so that he earns his pocket money. Its very easy to change his chores depending if its term time or summer. My son likes it because you can use it online safely and when he's out with friends. It gives him independence and flexibility. Reviewed on: 19th March 2021
