Easy & fun way to teach kids about money

I use Rooster to manage the kids’ weekly pocket money, extras for chores & rewards if they save their money. It has encouraged them to think about the value of what they buy (eg is 4.99 for that magazine really worth it?!) and save up for bigger items. They can even put saving goals into the app and track how they’re doing. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

excellent- it really helps my kids have a better understanding of money management

We only have the app (may move onto the card when my kids are a bit older and take on actual paid work), but my kids love it; before any money they would get would be spent straight away on sweets or some other junk whereas now they would much rather add it to their Rooster accounts to save up for something they really want! Convenience in App form.

Kid and adult friendly

I love the app! I spent time researching the various different cards and apps available. Rooster Money appealed for the independence it gives my daughter. She can see how her account is accumulating, she can see the benefit of doing her chores and she is making better money decisions. Form an adult point if view I can set her realistic goals of weekly chores and add in additional tasks. Great app

Helps with chores

Great for the children to be able to see how much money they've earned and set savings goals for things they'd like to buy. Even more of a help when you don't have much actual cash to give them and you're likely to pay for what they want by card anyway! Reviewed on: 13th April 2021
