Brilliant app for children to learn about savings

This app has changed how my children behave towards their chores! They also after initially spending learnt how quickly money goes and have since started saving more than spending Reviewed on: 7th February 2021

Great allowance mngt App

However, some things could be improved. The week starts from Sunday on the App which makes it confusing for the rest. Also, no dates above the actual chore.. Also could be helpful. Possibly a summary month of chores to view would be good. But overall, this is fantastic way of managing allowance for kids - easy to top up from parent and easy to pay into child's account. Best app for my 9 year old.

Pocket money was always hit and miss for us. I never had any cash and would often forget to reward later when I did have some. That meant my son never really engaged with chores or learnt about saving. Rooster Money has changed all that and now we consistently have chores done, without a fuss. My son loves having his own Visa card and I can see everything that he spends. Brilliant! Reviewed on: 7th February 2021

Fantastic way to manage pocket money and chores

All of my three boys love this app. They look forward to receiving their pocket money and find new ways to earn money. They also compete to see who earns the most each week. My eldest loved the independance the card gives him. Reviewed on: 7th February 2021

Brilliant for managing pocket money

I have all my children on this one app, it’s so easy to log money they’ve earned individually or all of them at once by just a tick to each of their names. Also works when taking money from the account too. My daughter is particularly fussy when it comes to 99p in app purchases, so this app is brilliant for logging the exact amount rather than finding 1p change all the time. I am not a fan of them spending too much money on games/apps but this is such a brilliant way to log chores/pocket money and allow them to spend the money they’ve earned on the things I won’t buy them. When they want a particular thing they do lots of chores and we log them together, they can see how much they have at any time, it’s so easy to use and get around. Reviewed on: 7th February 2021

Pocket money

We use rooster to reward chores and good actions individually i.e loading dishwasher. The kids are motivated to help as they see their balance go up. They can then bank their money for something they want to save for or to spend on days out. Reviewed on: 7th February 2021

Excellent financial for children

The best app I've used to help teach and encourage my son to be responsible both with his daily chores/activities as well as money management. Since using this app I have had very little issues with my son doing his chores. He can monitor his own performance and now aims to complete all to get his full allowance. He sets up his own savings goals for buying his own things and manages his savings well. He especially loves having his own card and I appreciate being able to set where he can use it and how much he can spend at anytime, freezing the card if misplaced, and other useful functions so I don't need to worry. Great way to get kids to understand money

Kids often don’t learn the value of money and how hard you have to work to get it. Linking chores with earning money is a great way to learn that important life skill. Plus covid has meant there’s an easy way to go cashless for kids. Reviewed on: 6th February 2021
