My kids love having their own card to get treats and give to charity. It helps them understand saving, spending and being generous through giving to others Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Essential financial literacy training

5
Not only are my children more mindful of their spending and now understand the consequences of impulse purchases, they have a broader interest in finances and have asked about interest rates, credit cards, mortgages, investments and even pensions! Reviewed on: 28th March 2021

Our kids are now really engaged in chores and saving

5
We have a 7 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. We'd been discussing pocket money but using coins was just impractical and painful. We made a deal where they could only have pocket money if they did chores but it was a struggle for them to get engaged. We found Rooster money and it's been amazing! They have Amazon Kindle Fire tablets with the app on so they can see their balance, and they can see the savings goals, and then spending their money with their cards really makes them feel the feedback loop between chores and rewards. Reviewed on: 28th March 2021

Brilliant Family Friendly Banking App

5
We set up RoosterMoney during lockdown in 2020 and because it was online it was so easy! We have two children one 10 and one 8 and we were able to make 'real' payments for our eldest and 'virtual' payments for our youngest. Both children are able to easily access the app and move money into different pots. By paying the annual fee our eldest now has a bank card and is able to make Contactless payments with her own money. This has been great in terms of her being independent and learning how to manage money. We can easily add and deduct amounts and we get notifications regarding activity. The additional bonus is the money management tips and new innovations that RoosterMoney makes available too. We are really impressed with the app and so are our kids! We've already highly recommended it to other parents we know. Reviewed on: 27th March 2021

A simple banking app for children

This has been the best way to work on earning, spending, giving and saving with our 6 year old. Reviewed on: 27th March 2021

Value, Features and Fun

5
RoosterMoney offers more features when compared to its rivals and has lower monthly costs. The kids love the cards and the app helps them understand how money works Reviewed on: 26th March 2021
