A great introduction for my children to learn how to manage their money as well as the reassurance that we can send money to them in case of emergencies. It’s also useful to monitor their spending and it’s great to see them use the savings pots to save up for bigger purchases. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Great for Teaching Kids Money Skills

I've been using the NatWest Rooster card for my child for a few years now, and overall it's been a really positive experience. The setup was straightforward, and the app is easy to use for both parents and kids. I like being able to send pocket money instantly and see exactly where it's being spent. The parental controls are very helpful. You can set spending limits, block certain types of payments, and even freeze the card if needed. It’s also great for encouraging saving, as my child can set goals and track progress, which has made them more aware of budgeting. I have found this the best card and app for children...

I have found this the best card and app for children and families. So easy to set up and both keep track of money, easy for child to use and follow and no hidden costs. Can set up chores for pocket money and if not all done a percentage can be given of what they have done. They can save money too and see what they have saved, really teaching early to save what you earn. Could not recommend this app and card more for families. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
