Fantastic for the children to use. Feel like they are grown up, understand about money and how to use it well. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

Easy to use and teaching them how to budget

The app is easy to use and a great way for me to manage my children’s pocket money. I put the months worth of pocket money onto the app as soon as I am paid monthly and they get “paid” each Friday. It’s teaching them how to save and budget. It’s a great app. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

My children really enjoy having Rooster accounts and it has made budgeting for them easier for us as parents as we no longer need to buy them things when we go shopping we just make sure they have their rooster cards with them and if they don’t have enough money it inspires them to save up. Reallly good system and really user friendly Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

Rooster Money is great for teaching kids how to use cards. My kids like that they can set savings pots, and have their own app to keep track of their money. The card 'just works' including for online purchases (which is great in 2026) and fee free foreign transactions are great on holiday. Free if you have a NatWest RBS account, too, which makes it fantastic value for money! Reviewed on: 18th February 2026
