Great for under 10s

5
Gave a rooster card to my son for his 10th birthday after several of his other friends had similar cards. I like the fact I don't pay a fee every time the rooster is used. He uses it to manage his pocket money and savings. I boost his weekly allowance for rewards or treats. Great for preparation for secondary school... Using bus fairs and lunch money etc. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

We love the Rooster app

It’s reminding me to pay pocket money on a consistent basis, teaching the kids about money management and helping us to have better conversations about money. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Simple money management for kids

If you're looking for a simple way to teach kids about finances, RoosterMoney is it. The app is easy to use and helps introduce money management to the littles through an easy-to-use interface. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Easy and fun to use

A great app which is easy for parents and kids to use. The kids can see exactly how much money they have. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Teaching my son the value of money

5
Before rooster I would always just buy my son things, he once said it only costs £300. Now he has a set amount of pocket money every month that he can spend and once it’s gone it’s gone. Something big that he wants he can create a saving pot and put money aside, he’s actually excited to save and loves doing chores to gain extra cash. At Christmas and his birthday it was easy for grandparents to drop money into his account. Having the card makes him feel like a grown up and also means he can spend his money online too. Encourages independence

This app helps my children take responsibility for the chores they are able to do and they love getting rewarded with pocket money at the end of the week. As a parent, I like it because I feel like they are doing something for the money they earn instead of me paying and doing all the house chores! My children are old enough for a bit of their own money and also to help around the house. This app really helps with house harmony. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

works perfectly

since giving my daughter a rooster card she is learning very quickly that money does not grow on trees. she must save for what she wants to buy and it teaches her the pleasure of buying something you want by earning and saving for it. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Piggy banks are out

5
Great app! We failed trying to teach our kids to save using a traditional piggy bank but with this app they are actually excited about saving and they now compete against each other to see who can save the most. They have set household chores to do daily and failure to do this means money deducted from their weekly pocket money. Also having the bank card has given our 11 year old some independence and responsibility which has been great for his confidence. Thoroughly recommend and have done to friends. Thanks Rooster!
