Exhorbitant amendment charge

I called to amend the policy just before renewal so that on renewal the policy would apply a change in my wifes occupation in2 months time. I accepted a quote on teh basis that when I informed them of the change in October it would not charge me. When in October I informed them of the change they tried to charge me almost 50% of the original premium to record the change. I had eveidence they agreed to waive it and so ultimately they dropped the charge but they tried to argue they had no record of it. Reviewed on: 8th October 2025

Difficulty in cancelling renewal after request.

Difficulty in cancelling renewal after request. Follow up also misleading. Insurance nearly doubled from previous year. Other providers cheaper than last years . Reviewed on: 8th October 2025
