Hugely disappointing PayPal customer service

Hugely disappointing , having had a very bad experience with an online order which was cancelled by me within 15 min of receiving the PayPal email confirmation, the company refused to cancel and ignored repeated emails. The process of challenging the transaction was and is unacceptable in this age of fraud. Interestingly the language used by the company that advertise on Facebook and PayPals lack of action is very similar: Apologise for delay and thanking you for your patience! PayPal instant payment using a 'trusted device' does not benefit the consumer if there is no opportunity to check before the payment is made. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
