AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED They may come up with one of the lowest quotes, on the comparison sites. BUT PLEASE NO NOT BE FOOLED, 1. iF you sell your car and cancel or transfer the insurance policy. It will cost you £50 2. If you change address it will cost you £50 3. If you want to add/remove names driver it will cost you £50 AND IF, LIKE ME You pay upfront for the full year, then sell the car, they take £50+ they do not give you all the unused months balance you paid and....... You will be waiting at least 30 days to get the balance back. I have now been waiting over 30 days and STILL waiting my refunded balance. Reviewed on: 4th November 2017

DO NOT NOT USE. Performance Direct Insurance, they WILL sting you.

What a shower, Quoted cheapest Insurance then after I'd paid required my DVLA Check Code Number ? I'm 66 and have NEVER been asked for this before. So I cancelled, 20 minutes later...OH NO, they charged me £55 for the privilege! I am now reporting them to The Insurance Ombudsman re the 14 day cooling off period. What a bunch of xzwx this lot are. DO NOT USE. Further, try phoning them, set aside 15 minutes waiting for them to pick up. Reviewed on: 10th August 2017

To the Ombudsman

I have had a 16 (sixteen!) page reply from Performance Direct, refusing to refund the £55 cancellation fee. I guess they get loads of complaints – the reply is in a standard generic format! I am referring the issue to the Financial Ombudsman. Reviewed on: 30th March 2017

Not overly impressed

I use Performance Direct at the moment - I am a total Go Compare type girl so usually just go with the cheapest possible. I haven't been overaly impressed with these tho. My husband is on policy and he had an accident to try and get my policy to show this was more hassle than what it is worth so I ended up just taking him off my policy Reviewed on: 27th February 2017

Unprofessional, arrogant, rip-off merchants!

I did an online quotation with this lot, for my 20 year old car. Nowhere in the quotation process was I told that I had bought a Classic Car policy. Classic Car cover is not suitable for me or my vehicle. No problem, I thought, the risk has not even begun yet. However, after talking to them, I am being forced to either pay £60 for a non-Classic Car policy, or a £55 cancellation fee! Rip off! Reviewed on: 7th February 2017

great company George was great

Had a nightmare with my insurance my company enterprise went into liquidation!! Not best pleased done a quote on money supermarket and these guys came top. Had to call them and spoke to a guy called George who was very helpful and got it all sorted for me. I hate buying insurance so if I ever meet this guy will buy him a pint.
