EFFICIENT SERVICE

For some reason, I am unable to send a secure message via FBS's website. Accordingly, I phoned and left a voicemail requesting a call-back. I was duly called back very promptly, and was able to arrange the closure of one of my FBS accounts without fuss over the phone. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2023

Keep introducing newer savings accounts

You have to keep a close watch on your savings with FSB as they keep releasing newer accounts with higher rates of interest. This means that you have to keep changing your savings account to their newest issue. They all do this to some extent, but FSB seems to do it more than most B Socs. Reviewed on: 21st April 2023

We have to balance the money we hold for our savers against the money we lend on our mortgages, and this affects the types of savings products we offer and their availability, at any particular time. Unfortunately, it’s not practical for us to notify customers each time we launch a new product, but all our products are on our website, familybuildingsociety.co.uk, so it is worth checking this regularly. Our aim as the Family Building Society is that we continue to offer value for money and competitive rates. A refreshing change.
