Review of the Prudential, Pension:

PRUDENTIAL PENSIONS THEY DO NOT PAY OUT

I HAVE 2 PENSIONS WITH PRUDENTIAL THE FIRST WAS DUE TO PAY MY ANNUITY ON 1ST JULY,2023 AND THE SECOND ON 1ST JANUARY,2024, I AM STILL WAITING FOR BOTH OF THESE POLICIES TO BE SORTED AND PAID OUT, PRUDENTIAL JUST NEVER GET THE MATTER SORTED ALWAYS ANOTHER EXCUSE FOR DELAYING PAYING, LONG DELAYS BETWEEN RESPONSES JUST DRAGGING OUT THE PAIN FOR MYSELF STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE ON NO MONEY, PRUDENTIAL EVEN IGNORE THE ONBUDSMANS RULING THAT THEY HAD TO PAY ME WITHIN 30 DAYS. I AM AT MY WITTS END WORRYING HOW I WILL SURVIVE OVER THE WINTER WITHOUT ANY INCOME. ANY SUGESTIONS WILL BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED, I GET MY STATE PENSION ON 6TH MARCH 2025 SO IF I CAN SURVIVE TILL THEN I SHOULD BE O.K. IT JUST THE WINTER TO GET THROUGH. Poor company to handle your money.

I call about the years of service I had with spectrum brands. I was hired in Aug 1976. They froze the pension in June 2010. Do the math, it should be a couple months short of 34 years of service. Yet Prudential says it is only 27.9. If they can't do simple math, they really should not be handling anyone's money. Finally got this issue resolved after a full year. Not all Prudential fault; Spectrum Brands played a big part of the issue. Had to contact an attorney to get my full pension. Reviewed on: 9th November 2021

Lost pension fund

15 weeks after I found out the prudential lost my pension fund 15/20 calls 30 mins to 1 hour wait to be answered each time - placated by promises of calls back that have never come. Still no closer to them sorting the situation out. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE - DO NOT USE THESE INCONSIDERATE INCOMPETANT CRETINS FOR ANYTHING Reviewed on: 12th February 2021

Great switch to Pru

Easy pension to understand

Prudential helped me open a pension and start saving for the future. They made sure I understood the risks involved and investments. I felt so comfortable investing funds there for my pension. Reviewed on: 15th April 2019

Crooks

My pension turned out to be worthless, wish I hadn't bothered. These folk are crooks or very bad at investing and therefore should work at something they're better at. Reviewed on: 23rd September 2018
