Below is the reply I have received from Carpenters, (solicitor quote me happy put you with) I’ve been pursuing this for months and it’s utterly ridiculous, I am entitled to my money back from the excess I had to pay for a non-fault because quote me happy never waived it! My car was parked at the time and an Asda delivery driver hit it! I didn’t sustain an injury, but I had to pay the garage excess when my car was fixed… he damaged an entire side of my vehicle!

Unfortunately we have closed our file of papers on the 25th of October 2021, due to insufficient prospects on your case.

The third party insurers have raised Low Velocity Impact (LVI) on your case, firmly disputing how an injury could have been caused, as the damage that has been sustained to your vehicle was very minimal.

Therefore, we are unable to take on your case in any capacity and we would ask you to seek legal representation elsewhere if this is possible.

Absolute bodge job on customer service. Unable to get into my account for weeks because of their software fault. They could not be bothered, did not care, and were useless. I will never ever use this bunch of cowboys again.

Shockingly poor customer service. Their answers to emails don’t make sense, I can only assume they are not in U.K. price wise they seem ok, but I send 3 enquiries to try to work out if my watch was insured away from home - I still don’t know. Avoid this company like the plague.

Having to deal with a claim for an accident that was not my fault has been a nightmare. The only form of communication is via email, which doesn’t appear to get responded to, or a chat facility which is totally dreadful and leaves you unable to get simple answers and banging your head against a brick wall. Just avoid and pay and extra £100 on your premium. I will be from now on.

Quote me happy tried to auto renew my home insurance with a price hike and adding a £500 excess. I cancelled immediately and gave feedback on the service, but 3 weeks later they renewed the policy and as I had cancelled the direct debit they resubmitted the direct debit mandate under Aviva the parent company name so quote me happy wouldn’t show up. As far as I’m concerned it was a fraudulent request. I have informed the bank and will inform the regulator. Avoid at all cost!!

I have used quote me happy for several years but never had to claim. My car was recently broken into whilst I was at the airport.
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced !
It has been over a week now and the car has yet to be recovered from the airport. After spending most morning trying to chase and doing the leg work for them. Nothing has changed yet.
I have put a complaint with both Quote me Happy and vizion Network and had no feedback as of yet (more than the normal allocated response time).
During all this time I had no vehicle, and I had to hire one, as of course their policy states than you can only get courtesy car when the car is actually in the garage.
An insurance is only good if it can deal with your claim efficiency.. Well this one isn't. Please stay away from these !!

Really good price but really bad service I would not recommend this service. Pay the extra £100 else were to get the proper service and insurance. If you have a accident they do not help you they do not communicate with you they VOID your policy instantly no phone call no communication HOWEVER they do email you very minimum information to say your insurance has been cancelled. After this I received a debt collectors letter for around £15000 claiming to take me to court unless i pay for an accident which was not my fault. Did not hear back from anyone for months and i had to to keep chasing and putting in complaints with AVIVA. This accident happen in 2018 and has only been looked into and solved now in 2021. DONT DO IT look else were with proper cover Admiral Direct line are much better and offer allot more security.

Avoid Avoid Avoid - Zero communication.

I signed up to Quotemehappy from Comparethemarket. The first issue I experience was the online only - no communication over the phone. So I sent an email to clarify that my NCB was protected as I had selected because the policy docs illustrated the issue post signup. Indeed they responded with an extra fee. Which I complained about because it should have been inclusive in the price I selected. After this point communication was sparse or near zero. They confirmed my NCB had been taken into account however that was not answering the question. Now I have not had contact with them for 48 hours despite their commitment to a 24 hour response time. I have asked to cancel my cover in full twice without a response. I have contacted Aviva over the phone and they refer me back to the email or an online contact form.

I am now approaching my bank to get the full refund. Never again. If you want swift action and clarity avoid.

Took out car insurance with them and set up a direct debit to pay by instalments. Failed to collect first two payments and sent threatening emails and letters.
Wanted to contact them to resolve issue, but there is absolutely no way to contact them by telephone. Two goes at contacting them through their website and still no reply. Cannot find an email for them.
They’re doing a great job of bringing Aviva (the parent company into disrepute.
I’ll never use them or Aviva again no matter what the comparative costs are and would never recommend thar anyone else use them.

Trying to contact them is a NIGHTMARE if there's a problem; extremely frustrating and NO customer care at all. If you never have a query or an issue, they probably seem ok, but in almost 30 years of getting insurance I've never had this sort of experience. Contacting them to ask a question is designed to be difficult; I would not recommend them to anyone regardless of price - they're not the cheapest anyway. The difficulty in communicating is the main issue.

Following on from other reviews I wanted to back up the experiences of others that Quote Me Happy does not have customer service.

The only number you are given is a claims number and this goes straight through to an automated referral service for either the RAC or window repair service.

This company seems to have been set up without any customer service representatives at all, which is the last thing you want if you have to make a claim.

Additionally there are hidden charges, such as trying to charge £25 if you want to cancel even before the policy has started (which is contradictory to the Financial Services (Distance Marketing Regulations) 2004.)

If you use the quote they give you you should be able to get a company that has a customer service department to match their quote. I would strongly advice avoiding this company.

Absolutely atrocious service
I was involved in a no-fault accident they wrote my car off over the phone and arranged to collect it the next day. To date that was 17 days ago, no car, no payment, no answers, no excuses, I am unable to contact them as some of the numbers they give me do not respond. When I do get through to the one general number I can I have to go through 2 or 3 people to get to the one I want, often getting cut off, usually 40-60 minutes on hold—still, no answers. To rub salt in the wounds, they wrote off the car, so I no longer require the insurance cover, they charged a £65 cancellation fee!!

Absolute con company! Paid my insurance in full in May 2020, I’ve now bought a new car and Quotemehappy won’t let me change my policy! There is no customer service to contact anyone and they don’t bother replying to emails. So the two automated options they give me are either to cancel my policy which will cost me another £56 or keep the policy as it is which is utterly pointless as I don’t own that car anymore! Fuming with this total joke of a company. Won’t ever be using them again.

Horrible.. Even though my policy has not began,I have sent many emails for it to be cancelled as I would be changing my car before the end of my current policy (with another company).

It is just ruse to say that they reply emails within 24hours and they are available 24/7. Maybe this is a pre-warning prior to starting with them. I am not sure I would be happy with their services..

Having read a lot of reviews,I can only assume that they are not worth the custom. I would keep writing to them and keep you informed. But I can say they are a useless bunch!!!. I am sure they want to prolong so that I get penalised. Horrible service.

Total lack of customer service and easy website. All this cloaked in lack of customer service to reducing prices. Trying to get a 1 day terminology solved over a NCD was a nightmare so I just cancelled the insurance after just 6 days - when a simple conversation could have resulted in them getting my business full time. Life is not worth the stress of dealing with company like this
