Recognise Bank offer a personal savings account which has a 95 day notice period for withdrawals.

You can apply for the account online and it has no monthly fees. You’ll need to deposit between £1,000 and £85,000 (for individuals) and £170,000 (for joint accounts).

Okay but not amazing

Okay but not amazing - would be useful to have an app, for example. Online portal is reasonably user-friendly but still using memorable answers for security. Some unprofessional quality wording online with poor punctuation and inconsistent case. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Great interest rate and easy to access.

I opened a 3 year fixed rate savings account with Recognise Bank in 2023, paying a market leading 6.05%. The account was easy to open online and is equally easy to access to view interest, etc. I have had no reason to contact Recognise during the term of my account thus far. Opening a new savings account

I have recently opened a new 1 year fixed rate savings account and found the online process, straightforward. I do however feel they need to assess the financial services market place to try and match, if not beat the interest rates being offered by competitors for a like for like product, if they want to attract more customers. My advice moving forward, is to be the sheep ahead of the flock, rather than one of the lambs following behind. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Great interest rate and easy to open

The Recognise interest rate was top and it was very easy to open an account. However, I received an email sending me to the wrong web address (recognise.co.uk) and when I asked customer service about it - there was a typo in the email back to me. As you know dodgy internet addresses and typos are red flags so I did wonder whether this was an elaborate scam. Which I was happy to learb it was not but I did have a small panic attack. Excellent all round no fuss serice.

No a lot to say really, and that in many rerspects is a good thing. Excellent no fuss serice, good rate of return paid into my bank account every month, what more can you ask for. On a side, .. my bond will be coming to the end of it's 3 year term soon and I'm hopeing I can re-new for a further 3 years. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026
