Are you sure, are you really really sure

On the whole the idea of an internet bank working such as Revolut does is a good thing. The transfer of money into the Revolut bank works smoothly and fast, this is to its credit (no pun intended). However, where Revolut bank falls down steeply is in its handling of crypto transacions. Actually buying crypto is simple and painless enough, the problems start when trying to send that crypto to another wallet address. It’s like dealing with the Microsoft Paperclip on steroids. The extensive list of questions that have to be answered is designed for morons. In fact you could achieve the same outcome if you scrapped all of those questions and simply asked your customers “If your dog came in from the rain, would you dry it in the microwave?” If they answer ‘yes’ then they are not only not fit to trade crypto, they are also not fit to hold a bank account. Also the process of actually choosing a new address is quirky and clunky. You must choose a wallet provider from a limited list in a dropdown menu. If your provider is not listed what do you do? There is no “other” in the list. It was only by accident that I discovered that if you typed in enough letters so that the ever smaller list of choices presented to you was zero, then, and only then, did a button magically appear that said “Enter the name of your provider manually”. As an IT professional of over 30 years standing, I can tell you that this is extremely poor programming. So for the idea of offering an easy method to buy and sell crypto direct from a bank account I would give you 10/10 but for the actual execution of that idea I’m afraid you only get a 3/10.
