Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Top app to use for travels

The easiest banking app to use for international travels, with simple one-click instant exchange features and really good rates. Also great UI that shows a clear breakdown of my daily spends and habits. Reviewed on: 26th February 2024

Can't trust this bank!

On multiple occasions my account was blocked for everyday transactions (supermarket, uber, pub etc) which the bank flagged as suspicious. I raised this with them and they said nothing can be done and this is part of their security measure. When my card was stolen and multiple transactions were made amounting to over £1000, this was not flagged by their security system and they refuse to return stolen funds. Revolut failed to do its due diligence and look into transaction frequency, time, amount, customer spend history and pattern etc to determine the transactions as fraudulent. Further to this, you can only receive support via chat (which isn't great!). Reviewed on: 26th February 2024

All within one app.

Revolut offer every financial service product I could need, all within one app. With their Metal product, I get 10% off of all Stays/Hotel bookings which usually works out at the lowest rate available. Similarly, there's no other account/service I would use when travelling and can rely on Revolut to provide the best FX services. Reviewed on: 26th February 2024

I use Revolut on a daily basis and just love it!

I use Revolut on a daily basis, from sending money to my friends, to using Saving Vaults, redeeming cashback from Shops, to using the partner subscriptions or the single use virtual cards for more security. I have an Ultra plan and I just love it: the card is beautiful, the travel benefits are perfect (unlimited access to lounge, eSim, cancellation insurance, travel insurance etc) and I love the fact that it comes with Classpass, Financial Times, Deliveroo, Headway etc. Reviewed on: 26th February 2024
