Excellent Customer Service and Products

I have been with SW for many years and I no longer live in the area but chose to stay with them because of their amazing customer service. Always at the end of the phone helpful and efficient. Their new ap is great but I value the fact that I can speak to them . Reviewed on: 27th January 2026

A good old fashion Building Societ one can thrust

I am able to deposit money easily and make payments when I want too. I payment arrives on time and is better than other building societies when the payment arrives at 17:00hrs. I am able to download pdf copies of the accounts. At one time Saffron had the best deposit rate, but these days they are now falling behind other building societies. Reviewed on: 27th January 2026

Over the years

Over the years my grandparents, parents, my wife and I and our son have saved with the Saffron building society and my wife and l also had our mortgage here, we have always found their rates to be very competitive and have never considered to going anywhere else as they have always been honest and given us genuine advice.
