Friendly helpful service.

I wanted to deposit money into my account but also find out about interest rates. Katie at the Troon office was friendly , helpful and remembered me from when I was changing the account into my name after my husband died. She advised me on the benefits and restrictions on different accounts and I was able to choose the one that most suited my purposes. Altogether a friendly and professional experience. Phone service excellent

Dealing with SBS in branch or on the phone is always better than trying to negotiate their online system. I have several online accounts with other banks and building societies, but SBS online system is poor and not user friendly. Reviewed on: 2nd March 2026
