Great community resource

I have been a member of Sheffield Credit Union for many years and have so valued being able to access low cost loans especially when bringing up my children on my own. it has given me great peace of mind to know that they are there for me and the support and resources on managing household finances and links to other support are invaluable. Sheffield Credit Union is people Centred and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. I consider their approach to lending, encouraging saving whilst paying off a loan and ensuring borrowers are not going to get into financial difficulty as a result demonstrates their responsible and ethical approach. I have a savings account with sheffield credit union...

I have a savings account with sheffield credit union and I also.use there services for emergency rainy day loans and I do this by loaning against my savings and this helps me and my family in the long to save and get the stuff we need when an emergency fund is needed example we kived home last year and moved with no furniture or flooring and sheffield credit union was very proactive in dealing with my loan and this helped us set up our home I would really recommend.these and the staff are amazingly helpful especially with people what have anxiety when on phone speaking they are so understanding and reassuring and again very helpful Reviewed on: 14th July 2025
