Great support towards financial freedom

Credit union have allowed me to have savings which I never had and have given me good advice regarding a loan which helped me out so much. This is so important because it avoids having to use loan sharks or using expensive loan companies who do not have your best interests at their core. Simply knowing that credit union are there to turn to for help and great advice is wonderful. I don't have a lot of savings but just knowing I have actually got some is a great self worth feeling. I know that I would never be able to get myself into debt asking for loans or anything if it was not within my budget and this is so good when dealing with credit union you get the right support and advise. An ethical way to save

For a long time, especially since the financial crisis, I have felt uncomfortable using for-profit banks who are only interested in generating wealth for their shareholders. Sheffield Credit Union offers that not-for-profit alternative. The team at the Sheffield office are really friendly and helpful and I'm so glad this service exists. Thank you. No fuss and easy to manage your account

An excellent organisation

Sheffield Credit Union are a great organisation to save with and lend from. They offer a good range of products that are easy to access and serve an excellent purpose, and also offer excellent customer service and support. In addition they work toegteher with other community organisations in the city to ensure that those who might struggle to access mainstream banking products, or who need hardship support, are supported in teh best way possible, They are a valuable member of the local community because of their focus on making sure bank accounts and loans are available to everyone.
