Good interest rates

Great interest rates with the Instant Saver. You can only save £150 a month, but the 5% interest adds up and is one of the best rates out there. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Excellent online banking experience

RBS online banking is far superior to any other bank I have ever used. My experience setting up my savings account was extremely easy and quick and the staff are very friendly and helpful with any queries you may have. Reviewed on: 21st November 2019

Branch staff always helpful

Queues are well managed with more counters opening when it gets busier. Staff work together well to answer queries. Reviewed on: 1st January 2018

Low rates and poor customer service

The rates on offer at RBS are poor, certainly not competitive. Also, i've been affected by service outages at least twice over the past few years, which has been frustrating. Although, i do like the online banking interface and their mobile app. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017
