Reliable ISA option but not the most rewarding

Shepherds Friendly's website feels old compared to other options - both the established companies and the more modern app-based competitors. Although its bonus based approach offers more stability than other Stocks and Shares ISA, it does mean that the return is lower (however, you are more protected from downturns). Overall, this product is a good option if you want a pot of 'safe' money whilst also saving through the more risky options. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Had this stocks-shares-isa for 6 years now but 2% return these days? Not good enough

I will be phoning shepherds friendly in the next few days as this is not good enough these days. Other ISA's I have perform over twice as good as this. Reviewed on: 30th April 2023

Good incentive vs poor comms

Received a Love2Shop voucher for investing but they changed the name on direct debit one month which made me think I’d been a victim of fraud and cancelled it before eventually realising their error. Reviewed on: 17th January 2023

Straightforward personal finance

Incredibly easy to open my ISA, with the option to invest sustainably into an ESG fund. I really like the investment management, which provides a smoother and more stable long-term investment journey - this has been a lifesaver during the volatility of the past few years.
