I am over 60 years old and very active. After years on using Barrie’s insurance policies with my Banks and never having made any claim in over 20 years they put my premium up by over £250. Even Saga was way off the Richter scale of affordability. And then I found by chance Sport Cover Direct. It’s not only cheaper I also now have much better cover and even with a couple of low level injuries throughout the policy they have been very accommodating. Absolutely superb. Specialist outdoor insurance

I was looking for specialist insurance for an outdoor trip, stand up paddle boarding in Greenland and managed to buy rescue insurance for the whole group. A relief for the whole group. A number of other companies had turned us down, partly because of our age. Reviewed on: 31st July 2024
