Business account switched to Starling last year

I switched to Starling year. The transition was seamless, and I have found banking very straightforward and intuitive. This type of online bank is likely to be the way forward. They are ahead of the field. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

A bank for the 21st Century

I decided to opt for Starling business banking as I needed to open an account quickly. It was so simple to do and the application and approval took minutes. Barclays on the other hand were ridiculous in that they’d made an appointment for me to pop into a branch, only to be told that it was the first stage in that it was to see when a business banking rep would be able to see me. So an appointment to make an appointment. I told them no thanks. That’s when I researched the challenger banks and I’m glad to say that Starling have lived up to their promise. The app is easy to use and allows me to do most transactions. There’s also someone to speak to should the need arise. But that’s rare. They’ve reinvented banking for this century. I see some of the older legacy banks are only now belatedly offering feature such as pin locking and card blocking via apps. Dinosaurs are what come to mind. I’ve recommended Starling to a few people. Don’t normally vote for things like this, but I’m a happy customer. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Clear, concise, responsive banking.

Starling has the benefit of starting from scratch, I understand that, but dealing with them and using their banking services simply makes the High Street banks seem completely obsolete. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Outstanding

I can’t fault Starling in any way. Having had bank accounts with Barclays, RBS, Nat West and Nationwide over the past 50 years, I believe Starling provide my business and I a much superior and more appropriate service.. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021
