I was desperate. Didn't know what iwas going to do, my health was suffering iwas really at the end of my tether until I went to Stepchange, the people there are so great, they don't judge you, thank you Stepchange, I will always be sincerely grateful for your advice and support. Stress removed

I had gotten my finances in a mess over several years and was totally stressed by the situation I was in by the time I finally called Stepchange, usual pattern, thought I’d got everything under control then boom, you realise you haven’t and you can’t see a way out. From the very first call Stepchange took that stress away with their calm attitude and total understanding of the situation, dealing with creditors and arranging a DMP after explaining several options. Help when needed

I was able to sleep at night for the first time in months after a kind man from Step Change helped mep

Our finances changed over a period of a few months from being affluent to being in debt to the point of me having a breakdown. First it was lack of work and then the pandemic. Step Change wasn't somewhere I'd heard of but a friend told me about them. I telephoned them and they sorted out a plan for us.
