I have advised several people to contact Step change.

I initially had a poor experience with one step change advisor who gave me the wrong advice but it was righted a year later by another advisor and I have no regrets contacting them now. I would say that this charity saved my life because although I have equity in my house, I'm not physically well enough to go through the stressful process of selling up and moving. I have P.T.S.D. and physical chronic conditions and my Husband has Autism. The debts were as a direct result of our health conditions. Step change even delved into why we were in debt in the first place and were extremely professional, sympathetic and most importantly in our corner. We have no relatives and are very isolated.
