So happy this exists

After my partner passed away, my spending habits increased. Getting credit cards and loans to buy others gifts and gambling. Fast forward 5 years and I was literally in more debt than I had ever been in my whole 50yrs. I decided enough was enough and that I needed to get a handle of this, I was miserable. I filled an online form in with debt and income details. They recommended a DMP. So I submitted and quickly got the ball rolling. Plus the money owed will be completely paid. Step Change saved me.

Step Change has always been supportive, not just with financial advice and support but with mental health advice. When I first spoke to an advisor, they asked pertinent questions and then suggested other support available. They listened and empathised putting me at ease. No judgement was ever made.
