Amazing support from all staff

I was struggling to even pay the interest over larger bill. Stepchange help me deal with creditors whilst working with them to reduce or stop interest. I have 4 months payments to clear what was a 34K debt building daily which no doubt would have led to me losing out family home. All staff I’ve dealt with are exceptional especially during Covid times and dealing with our debts. I also have to say once the people you owe money to, you have Stepchange acting on your behalf all become respectful and no demanding. Simply the best.

From the moment I contacted them thay made me feel that I could put my money problem in there hand s and thay would choose the best option for my situation, and thay did. Grateful.

To be honest without the help of stepchange I'm not sure I'd still be here. My business failed with my business partner walking off into the sunset leaving me to sort out everything that was crumbling around us. He'd spent everything without my knowledge, leaving jobs incomplete. I stayed and finished every job to my own personal cost, the debts to our business kept landing at my doorstep everyday, I paid and took everything personally so none of our clients missed out. Working 16 hours a day It was difficult to even put food on the table whilst paying off huge amounts. It was only when stepchange was mentioned to me by a friend that I should get in touch with them, that the huge pressure was at last being able to ease. They have been so fantastic for me and for my family its difficult to put into words. But thanks to them and the work they do, I've been able to deal with things with a much clearer mind and not dread every day and what it may bring. No more sleepless nights.

Having taken on too much credit I found myself drowning in debt and my monthly payments were leaving me with next to nothing to live on. Once I bit the bullet and contacted stepchange (as recommended by one of my creditors) they took control of the situation and guided me through the procedure of a DMP.
