It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Debts due to diagnosis - able to see a way out

When I first contacted step change I was in a lot of debt due to a health diagnosis that escalated my debts. They were great, offered me advice - I decided I wanted a dmp as I knew it was my fault and wanted to pay back rather than go bankrupt. The dmp meant all interest was paused and I could repay in affordable amounts. I’m hoping to be debt free by the end of the year thanx to Stepchange Reviewed on: 24th May 2025
