A life saver and great counselling service

When I thought my world had come to an end and I thought I’d lose everything they calmed me down, helped me organise my debts. Made me stop trying to pay just one debt at the cost of the other debts. Helped me budget so I could still live and have a life while paying off my debt. It’s going to take time but I’ve managed and still had a life. Have got married and amazingly bought a house, something I never thought imaginable. They are always so helpful, kind and caring on the phone and have never once judged me. A weight lifted off my shoulders

From being in a position where I didn't know which way to turn, Stepchange quickly arranged agreement with the companies to whom I owed money. Set my budget and arranged payment in one Monthly amount. The letters stopped, the phone stopped ringing and I can now sleep at night again. Debt relief.

Stepchange helped me when I was almost out of my mind with worry over a debt. They helped in a practical and realistic way by assessing the amount I could sensibly repay and assessing on an annual basis my financial circumstances and adjusting the amount where necessary.
