From my first correspondence with StepChange which was a call for help, advice, and support with my troubling financial situation, to the regular monthly support and guidance I am receiving now during these made further difficult times during the pandemic, I have felt less and less fearful and snow blind seeking reasonable solutions to my debt crisis. Feeling ever more in control and confident that I will not only achieve my goal of paying back debts to creditors regaining some dignity and normality again, I appreciate being protected from the stress of dealing with multiple creditors at once by the team and their professionalism. The charities humanitarian approach to problem solving respects individuals in need, result being I feel like a person not a problem to them. Thank you Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Nobody likes being in Debt!

Having admitted to myself I was out of control with my debt and had to do something about it! I contacted Step Change they were brilliant! I had all the information to hand when I called. Having taken everything into account the told me what I could afford to pay a month, how long it would take for me to clear my debts and any other options that were open to me. I decided on the payment option. They contacted all my creditors with a Debt Management Plan. The plan was swiftly put into place. Apart from a few minor hic ups everything as gone smoothly since. StepChange have been amazing in helping me to get my debts under control. I have been in a debt management plan for some time now and through all my circumstance changes that may affect my ability to pay into the plan, StepChange have been there to advise and to help. Not too long ago I was coping with my finances just fine, but then I lost my job and didn’t know where to turn The debt was mounting up and had many defaults on my payments, I was struggling. But then I found StepChange and it literally changed my life, it was so simple too, they made sure everything was affordable to your circumstances. One simple monthly sum dispersed to all creditors.
