The only people I’d recommend with debt

I was terrified of my debt and when I turned to Stepchange I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was kind, constructive and positive support when - and how - I needed it most. Also, they aren’t like the cowboys who charge you for the service. As a charity they support you without adding to your debt. I can’t praise them enough. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Life-savers. Don't delay in asking them for help.

I found out about stepchange when I was in a very difficult situation struggling with debts. From the very first call until this day (it's been quite a few years) they made me feel less worried and are always kind and helpful. They've taken charge so I don't need to deal with the stressful letters and calls anymore. I can focus on my poor health instead. They've been life-savers I cannot recommend them more strongly.
