Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

StepChange have been amazing

StepChange have been amazing throughout my debt journey. They are so understanding, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. From the very beginning, they made me feel like I could get my life back again after getting into debt. Thanks to their support, I’ve already managed to pay back half of what I owed, which feels incredible and has lifted such a huge weight off my shoulders. What also gives me peace of mind is knowing that if I ever struggle again, they will still be there to help and support me without judgment. Overall it has been a real stress reliever, the fact we now have control of our money and can actually see our debts being paid off instead of constantly paying random minimum amount here and there. All of the debts are combined into one payment and makes repaying so much easier and even better, cheaper too. I would highly recommend anyone that is in debt or worried about debt to seek advice from these guys, I would say I would happily use them again but I don’t plan on getting into debt ever again. Although they do have some useful online tools that will help now and in the future with managing money easier and I will be taking advantage of them. Brilliant service
