Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Didnt know where to turn!

We got into serious debt and didn’t know where to turn! Step change helped sort everything out and got it into one manageable payment a month. Great Support System

Stepchange helped me sort my Debts out by Management Plan and taken a huge burden off my shoulders. Due to furlough in Covid I was really scared of falling behind with my debt payments, I felt like I was drowning! I Contacted strp change and the relief was immediate!They were so kind and helpful. Step change have helped me arrange manageable payments with my debtors. All I had to do was give step change the info about my finances and they did the rest. I am kept up to date with monthly statements which is useful for keeping track of your payments and also seeing your debt going down. The website is very easy to navigate and you can also view and manage your budget should you struggle to keep up payments. All in all I am very pleased with step change and have found them very helpful thus far. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
