You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Very easy to transfer my lifetime ISA into tembo.

Very easy to transfer my lifetime ISA into tembo. Competitive rates offered, the app is really high quality. I had learned a lot from using Tembo - my knowledge in the home buying area is incredibly limited, but the app is so helpful with educational content. I love that you also can have people “gift” you contributions to your LISA - better than money in a birthday card! Reviewed on: 6th March 2026

Great fast first home deposit saver

Great opportunity to save more quickly for a house deposit. The only drawback for me has been that my bank account is one of the main known banks so it was more fiddly get the initial money in there to start it off (hence me dropping 1 star), but otherwise I'm happy with it as a deposit savings tool. I hope when the time comes to buy it'll be easy to withdraw the money. Reviewed on: 6th March 2026

Best rates

I chose Tembo for their leading rates. Their app is easy to use and provides lots of additional features to the LISA that are convenient to all have in one place. The only drawback so far is that it is not available to manage via web browser. Reviewed on: 6th March 2026
