You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Easy to open an account, good customer service

Easy to open up and manage an account online. The customer service team is responsive and provides the necessary help quickly. The interest rate could be higher however it is fairly competitive. The app is user friendly. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

An ideal way to save

A close friend of mine recommended Tembo, it helped him hugely with his house deposit and inspired me to do the same. The clear wording and instructions on the app were ideal for someone like me who had never thought very seriously about saving for the future before. Tembo have been great.

Great experience with Lifetime ISA

I have been using Tembo exclusively to house my Lifetime ISA and I have had no reason to report anything but excellence. Customer service has been polite, swift and helpful on the two occasions that I made use of them, and as of the time of opening my account, I found no better rate. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
