I organised my Buy to let mortgage this year through Tembo. They were fantastic and kept me informed throughout the process. They were able to offer good advice for questions I asked snd I’ve got a very good deal. A bonus was because I have a savings account with them there was no arrangement fee. Tembo kept me up to date with everything that was happening. Any small item was always logged and always replied to any queries quickly. first time buyer experience

I was a first time buyer and first came across Tembo 12 months ago. I had no idea about the house buying process but Ruth and Tia at Tembo have excellent communication every step of the way. They were upfront about fees, and I also used Tembo’s recommendations for a solicitor and for life insurance as their quotes came out best. They were also brilliant recommendations too. I would use a Tembo next time I plan to buy a house and would recommend to any family or friends planning on going through the process in the future. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Jason Thuku from Tembo was very helpful and supportive in helping us find the mortgage. He explained everything in easy to understand terms. He and his team kept us updated throughout the whole process. Our first purchase attempt fell through, but the team was able to use our data and without problems offered us a second great mortgage.
