Our experience with Tembo was excellent.

Our experience with Tembo was excellent. Harvey and Jess were so attentive and helpful in answering any questions we had. As FTBs this was especially helpful as we were quite nervous about the process. They replied to emails so quickly, and were even accommodating of contacting one of us who has working away in a different time zone for the week we were submitting the application! We ended up getting our mortgage through in just over a week, which was amazing. I'd absolutely recommend to friend. Reviewed on: 31st March 2025

Ruth & Jessica were excellent from start to finish of us buying our new home and as first time buyers, made the experience as simple and easy as possible! Both were always speedy at getting back to us with any queries and put us completely at ease through the whole process! We were let down by our original mortgage broker and we thought we would loose being able to buy our new home but Jess and Matt managed to secure us a mortgage really quickly and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Exceptional service from Ruth Russell and Jessica Eley

Exceptional service delivered by Ruth Russell (Senior Mortgage Advisor) and Jessica Eley ( Mortgage Case Manager), from start to finish obtaining my mortgage offer. As a first time buyer, I was unsure on a lot of things and had a lot of questions. Both Jessica and Ruth were welcoming to my questions and answered all queries promptly. Other brokers have made me feel stupid for asking questions and made me reluctant to ask further questions. However, at Tembo this is not the case and it’s a god sent blessing that I found these guys when I did. Especially during a time-sensitive scenario, where my house offer had been accepted. I felt really looked after in the hands of Ruth Russell and Jessica Eley, I wouldn’t ask for more professional or knowledgable individuals than these two. Additionally, my previous broker was charging £2,000 and Tembo on the other hand were at £749. This is a massive difference, especially when you’re putting a large sum for a deposit. It really helps with solicitor and survey fees. I wish both Jessica Eley and Ruth Russell the best in their future endeavours and the team at Tembo and would recommend them in a heart beat. 5 star service, which is reflected in their Google and TrustPilot reviews. Jess & Matt have been fantastic in helping us secure a mortgage as first time buyers. This experience can be rather scary however they made it pain free, relaxing and to be honest enjoyable. Great experience

We were recommended Tembo through some colleagues when looking to buy our first home.
